Sounds, with thanks.

Field recordings make these little escapes possible. We are grateful to the original recordists and to Blanket for collecting and preparing these sounds. The recordings below are licensed independently of our application. None are taken from Noisli.

Birds, Boat, City, Rain, Thunder, Ocean and Wind were edited upstream by Porrumentzio. NoiseSphere excerpts the recordings to at most 35 seconds, normalizes loudness, converts to MP3 and crossfades loop boundaries. The authors do not endorse NoiseSphere.

Blackbird, American robin, Nightingale and Tawny owl are additional recordings from Freesound contributors. These additions use the public HQ MP3 previews, excerpted to at most 60 seconds and normalized. They are not lossless original recordings. The owl recording includes distant church bells. See the bird recording manifest for exact sources and processing details.

White, pink, brown and green noise, plus Fan, are generated on your device. Pink noise uses Paul Kellet’s refined pink filter.
